How it all began
Radiate came out of desire and a need to show teenagers, that there is more to life that what we see around us.
For many years, we ran a youth club called Gate Crash. Gate Crash was great fun, we used to gather loads of teenagers every Friday night and have a great time. But over the years, what we realised was that although we had fun every Friday night, this is where it ended. All we were really doing was providing 2 hours of entertainment once a week, and whilst this was good, it wasn’t really making a difference in anyone’s life.
Jesus said that He came to give us life and life it to the full. That’s what we really wanted, to gather loads and loads of teenagers from all over Norwich, and help them to discover what Jesus really meant, and show them how they can really have life, and have it to the full.We launched Radiate in April 2007, and have never looked back. We still have a great time; we still play crazy games, make loads of mess, and make a lot of noise. But now, we are doing it all to help people like you think about what you believe, and discover how you can really get the most out of your life, and reach your full potential.
